Abu Dhabi Cricket, with the full backing of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has opened registration for the upgraded Team Abu Dhabi Zayed Cricket Academy’s new term – the UAE’s most prestigious junior cricket coaching programme – for kids Under 6's to Under 19's!
Our mission at Abu Dhabi Cricket is to ensure we build the most complete pathway for young players in Abu Dhabi, our ambition is for every player to realise their potential and to learn the skills and values that underpin a lifelong love of cricket.
Building on the rich history of the Academy, we have evolved our programmes and thinking to connect the Team Abu Dhabi franchise side to the Zayed Cricket Academy; this relationship and my oversight of it will ensure that the skills, knowledge and values, which we instil in our superstar first-team players influence all of our programmes. Of course, over time our ambition is to ensure that young players graduate through the academy and have the opportunity to represent Team Abu Dhabi.
Our programmes this year will run for the following age-groups; U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U19’s. The pathway is open to both boys and girls. Not only does the Academy have a different name, but it will also have more cricket, both training and matches than ever before, in addition to providing once in a lifetime opportunities for some of you to be involved with the Team Abu Dhabi T10 1st Team squad in this season’s Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10 League.
